Even my college paper editor’s girlfriend who has subbed my work but I’ve only met once in my entire life has just messaged me telling me she’s there if I need her. I mean, of all the people who’ve been so good to me since it happened - my mother, my friends, my roommates -this is a perfect stranger, telling me the most personal stuff about her experiences, trying to make me feel better.
